Marblehead Lighthouse

Toledo Harbor Lighthouse (41.761667, -83.328333)
Officially described as "Romanesque." Can only be seen by boat. Maumee Bay. You can view the Toledo Lighthouse from the shores of Maumee Bay State Park through a viewer located on the walkway on the east side of the marina in front Of  the lodge near the marina.

 


Old Port Clinton Lighthouse ( 41.515977, -82.946831)
In a marina on the river-North shore of Portage River, just west of drawbridge. . It once sat on a breakwater, in the lake, at the mouth of the river. South of Highway 163- only the top portion remains.

Deemed oldest lighthouse on Lake Erie. Now owned by Ohio State Parks and has tours. Driving on Ohio Route 2, exit on Ohio Route 52 and then head east on Route 163 to the lighthouse.

South Bass Island Lighthouse (41.631867,-82.83989)
Can be seen by boat. Private Property. Southwest end of South Bass Island.


Cedar Point Lighthouse ( 41.488187, -82.693429)

Huron Harbor Pierhead Light Erie County (41.40469, -82.543867)
Can walk to it along a rugged break wall. North end of west pier .


Vermilion Lighthouse Erie County (41.42495, -82.366591)
Replica of the original at Inland Seas Museum ; you can view it up close. Gift shop and museum.

Lorain West Breakwater Lighthouse (41.47784, -82.19041)

From Highway 6 in Lorain just west of the Black River, turn north onto Broadway. Follow it to the piers where you will get a distant view of the light.
West harbor breakwater. Visible from shore

 


Cleveland Harbor Main (41.50897, -81.7177)
Located at the end of the breakwater on the west side of the entrance to the Cuyahoga River.

Cleveland East Pier head Light (41.54308, -81.65128)
Visible from shore but isisolated on the break wall and best viewed from a boat.


Old Fairport Harbor Main Lighthouse (41.75696, -81.27732)
Part of a museum- you can walk up to it. Ohio Route 2 to Fairport Road.


Fairport Harbor West Breakwater Lighthouse (41.76788, -81.28119)
Visible from shore but on private Coast Guard Property. On the West Fairport Breakwater.


Ashtabula Lighthouse (41.91855, -80.79586)
Visible only by boat. On private Coast Guard Property.


Conneaut West Breakwater Lighthouse (41.979951, -80.557948)
Visible from shore.
